 Nagamalla Venkateshwarlu is looking for help from Spandana Foundation. He is suffering with Neuro degenerative disorder (gb-patient) from March 1st. His total body got paralysis. He comes from a very poor family. He has a small grocery shop in his village and that was their source of livelyhood. His family of 4 includes his wife, one daughter and one son. The whole family is dependent on him. Till now, they spent 4 lakhs for his treatment. Whatever amount they paid to the hospital is from his daughter marriage savings. Some money was raised from the friends and relatives.

Reason for Paralysis

After taking hernia surgery, He got sudden fever within 10 days. After wards his body became weak and finally resulted in paralysis. His doctor referred to go to NIMS for further treatment.

What medications he has taken after he got the paralysis?

For first stage: Nims hospital

After he got paralysis, First 8 days continuously he had taken immunoglobulin injection worth of 55000/- per day and also he was in ICU for all these 8 days. Total cost was 4 lakhs 75000/-. But he paid only 4 laksh. So the total due is 75000/- in nims hospital.

For 2^nd stage: Physiotherapy Venkata Raman Hospital, Warangal

He took treatment for 5 days in Venkata Raman Hospital, which costs 30000/-. he paid only 20000/- out of 30000/-. So the total due is 15000/-.

Current stage: physiotherapy

After finishing 2^nd stage, there is little improvement in his body(he is showing little movements and sensations in his body). As of now, Another 12 more months he need to go for further treatment. Now he is continuing his physiotherapy treatment from home only. For that he have to pay 600/- to doctor per day.

NIMS Hospital Due: 75000/-

Venkata Raman Hospital Due: 15000/-

One person is passing current. For him, 300/- per day

One person is showing exercises how to do. For him, 300/- per day

These treatments have to be continuing until 12 more months.

600/- X 30 days = 18000/-

Total amount required for survival of the Venkateswarlu is 216,000/- INR ~5000USD.

Spandana will be supporting  1000 USD for this case.

About Family Members:

His wife is not working. He have one daughter and one son. Daughter is studying b.formacy final year. His son is studying B.tech 3^rd year.

His financial Background:

He have grocery shop in his village. Because of this, that shop was closed.

How he was managed for the previous Hospital bills?

Whatever amount he paid to hospital is from his daughter marriage savings. Some amount brought from the friends and relatives.
