Case for Supporting Intermediate Student at Hiriyur, Chitradurga (Dist), Karnataka (2008-2009)

Spandana foundation is supporting meritorious, poor and Single Parent Girl student who is studying Intermediate, Hiriyur, Chitradurga (Dist) Karnataka India. The details of the student and her credentials have been mentioned below.

Student Shoba

Shoba, a meritorious first year Inter (PUC in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology) student in Government Pre-University College, Hiriyur – 572143, Chitradurga (Dist), Karnataka and single Parent Student need support for higher education. Shoba, a native of Hiriyur, Chitradurga (Dist), Karnataka, completed her S.S.L.C on March 2008 with 57% (Second Class) from Government Junior College, Hiriyur -572143, Chitradurga(Dist), Karnataka.

Shoba, 15 years Girl lost her Father for alcohol addiction and passed away recently. She stays with her mother who works as a maidservant at local homes (only source of income). Her Mother wants her daughter to be educated and Shoba has great interest in pursuing her education.

Highlights of her education:
SSLC: 57%

Due to very less income, they cannot afford for Shoba's education. Shoba also works to helps her mother as her mother falls sick often and also to get some additional money to support her education. If we take care of her financial burden off her little shoulders, she would able to concentrate on her education much better.

With all her hard work and Mother’s support, Shoba studied in Govt. high school and successfully completed 10th class with second class in March 2008. She has great enthusiasm to pursue higher education and want to support family. As her financial position is very bad and is not in a position to support herself for Intermediate education (10+2), Shoba is seeking help from the charitable people to continue her education.

Shoba already got admission in intermediate college and started her PUC in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology at Hariyur, Chitradurga dist. Karnataka.

Looking at her profile and talking to her/mother personally about her needs, Spandana decided to help her for the Intermediate education.
