Sai Seva Trust

Total strength

25 kids in the newly constructed orphanage. We will add students every month depending on how much funds we have. Usually 10 kids every 2-3 months. We have a care taker and they go to a private school close to the orphan age. The number of students change from time to time as there will be new admissions and few opt outs.

160 kids received partial help till date - they stay with their relatives and grand parents in their villages. Once in an year, we arrange a meeting and meet everyone in person and give them school bags, rice, books, clothes, shoes and other day-to-day needs that are good for one year.

Registered NGO?

Yes, its a registered NGO working from 2003.

Government funds

We are very much open for government funds but have not received  a single penny. The reason is that every step of receiving funds involves bribery and one last thing we could do on this noble cause/work is encourage/entertain bribery. So we are staying away from it.

Orphanage

Orphanage is constructed with an expenditure of whopping Rs 40 lakhs with contributions coming from many generous donors all over the world. It can accommodate up to 400 kids.

Activities

Our prime motto is to reach out to the orphan children, child labor, children in need or any one who has the passsion to study and make way towards a glorious future. We give them food, shelter, education, health, train them with good culture, teach discipline and when they go out, they should be ready to live on their own.

Oldage home

Around 50-75 elderly (old age home) people can also be accommodated in the orphanage.

Donors

Till date we have close to 150 donors. Majority from the USA and India.

Other departments in the Orphanage

We have room for accommodating new departments like, library room, computer room, doctor room. This will be set up as we accumulate funds.

Self sustainability

We have few plans on making the orphanage self sustainable. We just started a water plant. This will allow us to cater the needs of the water for the orphanage and to the surrounding villages. We are planning on selling this pure water at a very low price to meet the needs of the water plant and orphanage.

Community development programs

We have a Government school next to the orphanage. Once we see sufficient funds, we have plans of developing that school infrastructure so that the entire community is benefited. After all, reaching out to every kid in need is the motto!

Plan for a visit

You can plan for a visit at your convenience. We can arrange to meet with the kids and walk you through the Orphanage. Please contact Mr. Rangiah, president of the orphanage, at 98484 44020 and he can help you with the directions and other trip details.
