Sri Sabrish - a Poor kid suffering from Extra Hepatic Biliary Atresia (End stage Liver disease). Spandana Foundation is supporting to provide medical treatment for a poor kid, MAST. Sri Sabarish, who is suffering from Extra Hepatic Biliary Atresia (End stage Liver disease ) which requires urgent Liver transplantation. The details of the case have been provided below:

Spandana received a request to help a 2-year old kid who is undergoing medical treatment for Extra Hepatic Biliary Atresia(End stage Liver disease) and it is unfortunate that his parents do not have sufficient funds to support his treatment. MAST. SRI SABARISH, only son of Mr.T.Dhivagar and K.Kalaiselvi Dhivagar has been recently diagnosed with Extra Hepatic Biliary Atresia(End stage Liver disease) and it requires immediate Liver transplantation for him to survive. He needs immediate and urgent medical care. Mr.T.Dhivagar father of Sri Sabarish residing at Maravanery,Salem works for a TN Electricity board,Metur,India. With his moderate annual income, it is indeed difficult to support the huge costs involved with his son’s medical treatment.

The cost of the operation is estimated to be around 12 lakhs (INR).Doctors have sent Sri Sabarish’s father’s tissue for “Tissue-matching”(for Liver Transplantation) test since his mother tissue did not match. Meanwhile, they are also treating Sri Sabarish for esophageal ulcer.Their family is in a hepless situation as the medical expenses of Sri Sabarish is mounting up in addition to maintaining the day-to-day family expenses. Divagar is making all possible efforts to arrange funds for his son’s operation. Hence they are approaching various organizations and people to seek help. Till now they were able to pool up only 3lakhs from their family ,relatives and friends and his doctor promised to arrange another 3 lakhs from his end.Still Divagar’s family needs 6 Lakhs and he has unshakable belief that the support and prayers of kind hearted fellowmen will indeed save his son who can lead a normal life like any other child.
