Spandana Foundation and Tennis Ball Cricket Association (TCA) organized a Knock Out Cricket Tournament for
men in Bay Area. More than 150 people were part of the event. It is filled with sportive spirit and joy though the

weather was too hot. AAA Satellite (Direct TV), Precious Dental and Channel Real estate sponsored this event.

All the proceedings of this event will go to Spandana Foundation to support Spandana'a projects in India to provide

basic education and health for the underprivileged in rural India. Spandana Foundation is helping 3000+ students for

their higher education in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharastra and Tamilnadu. All the students are

selected by NRIs in US would like to make a difference in the lives of students from their villages or from the school

that they  studied in their childhood.

32 teams participated in the Knockout Tournament and played 65 matches in last 1 month time. The finals details of Spandana TCA KO:

Spandana and TCA also organized a women's Cricket tournament. The involvement and energy of women who participated in the event was great. 12 women participated in the event and they enjoed playing the game though majority have not played game before. The match was so close that all the players given their best and played to their potential to win the match. The team lead my Meghna Samant won the match in the final over

Face Painting for kids was a great attraction and the colorful faces of kids made the event more colorful.
Peacock Restaurant's sponsorship on snacks and dinner made the event a wonderful picnic time for the families

The trophys and medals will given by Spandana Foundation's General Secretary Giriprasad Lankipalle and Peacock
restaurant's partner Prashant. Spandana Foundation had given Spandana T-shirts for all the women who participated
in the cricket and for the volunteers. Peacock had given the discount coupons for the restaurant.
