Health care is the prevention, treatment, and management of illness and the preservation of mental and physical well being through the services offered by the medical, nursing, and allied health professions. According to the World Health Organization, health care embraces all the goods and services designed to promote health, including “preventive, curative and palliative interventions, whether directed to individuals or to populations. Every one should be aware of their health systems and should check with the doctors regularly. Spandana and the team is has conducted Health camp for poor people in Katneni Yerragudi Village in 2008. Please view the details of 2008 Spanana is conducting another camp this year on 27th June 2009 in the same place. This village has population of around 800 with NO HOSPITAL near by. The nearest Public Health Care Centre is 15KM away from the village. Spandana Volunteers will be distributing the flyers to all near by 8-10 villages and advertise in local news papers and other source of media. This health camp covers following: - General Health Check ups (BP, Diabetics etc). - Any special cases will be refered to PHC's, provide necessary help and continue medicinal needs. - Provide medicines for Fever, clod, body pains, multivitamin's, antibiotics, eye, skin, etc.. - All medicines and Health Checkups are free and help for further treatment like eye surgery etc. will be provided Following Doctors and Pharmacist will be involved in supporting this camp:
