How the Money is Spent

The below information will give you an idea of how your dollar will help.

$180/Rs8000 ($15/Rs700 month) Provides boarding/schooling/health for one academic year.

For every $15 or more your sponsor, Spandana raises additional $15 or less for each kid which makes it $30 to cover their monthly expenses. We work with corporate sponsors and conduct fund raising events to cover the expenses.

You can choose to pay monthly(one time subscription) or yearly.

Money is spent towards their school fee, clothes, accomodation at the orphanage, food, note books and other expenses.

They go to a near by Government school(Prabhutva Prathamika Patasala) from 9AM - 4PM followed up by private tuitions at the orphange in the evening.

We will provide you with the list of child/children, schools, their names, pictures, their current education level or their present situation and keep you posted on their progress in a timely manner.

If you have amounts different to this, we will help you fit in any of the available options or we can work with you on a new program if you have any different ideas.

If you can let us know on your trip to India, we can as well arrange a meeting with the kids. You get to know them at a personal level.

All we are trying to attain in the process is to have accountability for every penny you donate. End of the day, that’s indeed a satisfaction for both the organization and yourselves.
