Spandana foundation is supporting meritorious poor student engineering student who is in 3rd year of Computer Science Engineering at RNEC College, Ongole, Prakasam Dist. Andhra Pradesh, India. The details of the student and her credentials are been mentioned below.

Student Jyothi Alapati

Alapati Jyothi, a meritorious but poor student doing her Engineering in Computer Science from RNEC College, Ongole. She is native of Repalle of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, stood first in the town with 540 marks in 10th Class. She secured 948 marks in Intermediate and secured a good rank in EAMCET, but unable to get admission into Govt. College.

Her father, who is a tailor unable to bear the fees for completion of the Engineering, requested donors to sponsor her education, through media in 2006. An article was published in Eenadu news paper in 2006. Recognizing her outstanding efforts, Spandana responded immediately and sponsored Rs 25,000 for her first year engineering.

She is able to manage her two years of engineering with the help she got from Spandana in 2006. By securing first rank in the first and second years in the class, She even got selected to the training program of Infosys technologies and a course completion certificate will be awarded by Infosys technologies upon successful completion of the training program.

Looking at her academic profile in the first and second years of Engineering and talking to her personally about the needs of her in third year, Spandana decided to help her for third year of Engineering. Here are the details of the expenses that Jyothi is looking for.
