Spandana Foundation supporting poor, meritorious students, who are in their Third and Second year of Engineering, at Adams Engineering College, Palvancha, Kahammam district, Andhra Pradesh and Abdul Kalam Engineering College, Vepalagadda, Kahammam district, Andhra Pradesh.

Students: Pavani Muthyala and Jeevana Muthyala

Pavani and Jeevana Muthyala, two poor and meritorious girl students, are in their Third year and Second year engineering in Electronics Engineering. They are native of Kahammam district, Andhra Pradesh.

Their Father Satyanarayana Muthyala and Mother Januma both works as a daily wager to pull the family expenses and their total annual family income is Rs. 15,000. With the small amount of income, their parents are unable to bear the expenses of their education. They have 3 girls, Pavani, Jeeva and younger one. Parents work hard to education three daughters. All the Daughters are intelligent and they got good grades. The Family expenses are more than their Income. Their enthusiasm is un-shattered to achieve their goal of completing Engineering and be successful in life though the financial issues are working against them. Both the girls Pavani and Jeeva got more than 90 % in 10th grade and intermediate. Pavani scored 92 % in 10th and 96 % in intermediate and Jeeva got 90 % in 10th and 92 % in Intermediate. They studied in Government College till Intermediate in Kothgudem, Khammam District at their native place, because they studied in Government College they got free education.

Pavani has achieved 85% in First year and Second Year Engineering College. Pavani is in Third year, she got college fee reimbursement of 30,000 from Government because they are economically backward. Jeeva also got fee reimbursement of 30,000 from Government for first year. As they have very less income, and parents have to take care of their family expenses and other expenses like Hostel, Mess, Books and Bus Transportation.

Looking at their academic profile and enthusiasm in education, Spandana Foundation has decided to help both the students with below expenses. Spandana Volunteers had personally visited them in India.
