Jahnavi Gattamaneni, is a meritorious student from Guduru and completed her IInd year B. Tech.  with  flying colors from S.K.R.Engineering College, Konduru Satram, Manubole, Nellore District AP. Her father, Prakash Gattamaneni works as a Accountant. While her mother, Muni Lakshimi is a housewife. Their household monthly income is approximately Rs. 2400 per month. Jahnavi was supported by Spandana Foundation under Pratibha Appeals for academic years 2009-10 and 2010-11. Due to her consistent academic results and unwavering enthusiasm Spandana Foundation will be supporting Jahnavi for completion of her B. Tech III Year studies.

Jahnavi has one younger brother who is studying in the Local Government College. Her parents had to take care of 2 kids with the expenses of living and education. Jahnavi parents live in a rented house.  Since Jahnavi being intelligent and good at studies her parents  want  her to successfully complete her engineering and support their family. She got 87 % in 10^th and 90 % in 12^th standard.Due to poor financial status of her family Spandana Foundation seek to help her for 2011-12 academic year as well. Jahnavi ‘s parents were able to manage the amount for 10^th and 12th Grade. Jahnavi got a scholarship under EBC (Economically Backward Class) for 1 st year B Tech. Jahnavi stays away from home she has lot of expenses like Hostel Fees, Mess, Books and Library fees. To reduce the burden, Spandana is planning to help with Books, Library and other expenses.
