K Somesekhar, is an intelligent but poor student from Narsimulapet, Warangal District, Andhra Pradesh who completed his 10th grade with 74% and 12th grade with 69%. His father Venkanna and mother Bikshamama work as a farm labor on daily wage basis. Their household monthly income is approximately Rs. 1250 which is not sufficient for a family of four. K Somesekhar's intense desire to study and become an earning member in the family after completion of education makes him eligible for support from Spandana Foundation under Pratibha Appeals for academic year 2010-11.

He promises to  keep  good academic track record as a  student so as to grab an early job. He is committed towards his goal and promises to  perform to best of his capabilities and  support his family . He has one younger sister who is studying in 1st grade at local government school. Due to poor financial status of his family and strong determination to achieve his dreams Spandana Foundation decided to help him for academic year 2010-11 expenses.
