Spandana has supported Chandra Last Year and decided to support this year also. Chandra is meritorious but poor and orphan student who is studying intermediate second year in Residential college, Anantapur, India. The details of the student and his credentials are mentioned as below.

Chandra Akula, a meritorious 12th class student and an Orphan from Kothachervu, Anantapur Dist. seeking help from Spandana for Intermediate studies. Chandra, a native of Kothachervu, Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh, secured 73% in SSC from Z.P High School, Kothachervu, Anantapur (Dt), A.P.

With all his hard work and uncle's support, Chandra studied in Govt. high school and successfully completed 10^th with Distinction in March 2008. He completed 11^th Grade with First Class in March 2009. He has great enthusiasm to pursue higher education and want to serve the society. But now his uncle's financial position is very bad and is not in a position to support the boy for Intermediate education (10+2).

Looking at his academic profile and talking to him personally about his needs, Spandana decided to help him for the Intermediate education in Residential School. *Spandana is supporting only students who are studying in Govt. Schools or Govt aided schools but this case is exceptional since he is an orphan and doesn't have any relative in Anantapur who can provide shelter. Initially, we will support Chandra for his Intermediate and the rest of the support will be based on his academics in future. Here are the details of the expenses Chandra is looking for this year.
