Spandana Foundation supporting a poor student who is in her 3rd year BA program at Siddipet, Medak (district), Andhra Pradesh, India.

Kanaka Lakshmi, has no parents, staying with her two brothers. Elder brother is married and father of two kids. He works as a Collie and younger brother works as a Mechanic. Both are drinkers and are no help to the family. Kanaka Lakshmi, lost her parents in her 8^th class. Her brothers wanted to stop her education as they don’t want to spend money for her education. But her enthusiasm is un-shattered to achieve her goal of completing BA and to be successful in life though her family background and financial issues are working against her. Then she started working part-time in houses to support her education. She has been doing that and completed BA IInd year by herself.

Kanaka Lakshmi wants to complete her BA degree, take APPSC exams and be successful in life even though her family background and financial issues are working against her. Kanaka Lakshmi’s strong interest in finishing her BA and be successful in her life impressed Spandana and decided to extend the helping hand for her education.
